NAWBO Richmond's Membership Committee assists with welcoming and onboarding new members as well as fostering relationships with current and prospective members. The goal of this committee is to help the chapter grow membership and enhance the member experience by heading up creative efforts to reach current members to keep them involved in ways that offer value to them and their business. This committee is looking for volunteers who can spend a little time sharing the benefits of NAWBO with potential members through phone calls or targeted events. Meet the Committee!


Arpita Gupta DePalma, MD, FAAP is a wife, mother, pediatrician, CEO/entrepreneur, practice administrator, and professional's mindset coach. In 2021, she founded Thought Work, MD, to help professional women learn how to identify, manage, and let go of what is not serving them through mindset coaching. 

Arpita provides women with the necessary tools to optimize how they show up each day to accomplish more while being happier doing so. She specializes in helping clients with anger management, time management, perfectionism, self-worth issues, parenting, cultural disparities, business development, and any other area they want to improve in their lives.

She is excited to be a part of this amazing group of powerful and driven women and thrilled to serve on the membership committee. She is eager to work with her fellow NAWBO sisters to motivate, collaborate, and support each other to help our members each shine in their own unique way!
