A little more about each of these organizations: Ladies that UX is a global community of women working in User Experience (UX) design. In a sector where men are heavily represented, particularly in senior- and mid-level positions, Ladies that UX is all about giving women the chance to meet up to support each other, exchange ideas, and promote female skill and talent. Richmond's LTUX chapter was established in 2017 and hosts educational sessions, networking opportunities, happy hours and walk-and-talks. They welcome women at all career levels in fields like product design, web development, research, content strategy, and more.
The National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) is proud to serve as the voice of the nation’s over 10 million women-owned businesses and represent women entrepreneurs in all sectors, sizes and stages of development and at the local level members are encouraged to engage actively with their local chapter to gain access to other women business owners, leadership development and community development. The diversity in our membership strengthens our voice across the country as all women entrepreneurs are encouraged to bring their expertise and insight to the table.
